Don Eugene Scott


Born November 10,1932 - Pampa, Texas

Father: Theodore (Ted) Eugene Scott Born 1901-1968 Bagley, Wisconsin

Mother: Opal Connally Scott Born 1906-1999 Waxahachie, Texas

Don received a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science Degrees from Texas A&I College, Kingsville, Texas; did graduate work at the University of Texas-Austin; did more graduate work at Southwest Texas State University and completed Special Education Certification in Special Education.

Don taught school in Victoria, Texas; Uvalde, Texas; and Waco, Texas.

Don spent 26 years as a textbook sales representative, then taught special education at Laurel Ridge Psychiatric Hospital for seven years before retiring.

Don served in the United States Army from July 1955 until June 1957 stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky and Gelenhausen, Germany.

Don married Sallie Johnson Dunham in 1991.

For several years Don was involved with classic and antique automobile clubs and was a national judge in many car shows.
